Hi and welcome to my shop.
I'm Michal Adler Shalev, I create hand built ceramic objects characterized by simplicity of form and surface treatment suggesting tactile and earthy qualities. The use of different clays combined with twigs, ropes, yarn, wires and stitches contribute to a distinct sense of closeness to nature and place inspired by contemporary and ancient cultures of the land.

I studied Ceramic Design at Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. I adopted a method of moulding by hand, an ancient technique characterized by slow, even sisyphean work, which allows me to express the rawness of the clay through a personal touch.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack my items with great care and beautifully wrapped. I use recycled boxes and a special Eco bubble wrap. I take great care to ensure items arrive safely. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, I will replace the damaged item. Please contact me with photos of the damaged items in such case.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I sent all my orders in a gift wrapping paper and a few layers of bubble wrap nylon in a cardboard box. If the order is a gift I will be happy to add a card with greetings from you. Add your text in the note section on your order or contact me.
Processing Time & Ready to ship items
Most of the items are usually ready to ship .
You can check in every listing the estimated delivery time.
Express delivery option is available at checkout (as an upgrade).
Can I ship to different address?
All items will be shipped to the address on your Etsy Account. If you wish for your item to be shipped to a different address, please let me know once you’ve completed your purchase, and I will be happy to do that for you.
